What are the steps of the smile makeover?
The first step in a smile makeover is your initial cosmetic dentistry consultation. During our initial visit, we will discuss both the things that you are dissatisfied with, and your desired goals. We then start your “cosmetic workup”. This includes complete photographs of your teeth, smile, face and profile. We take a mold of your teeth so that we can study them in three dimensions when planning our procedures. We take a full set of dental x-rays in order to evaluate your tooth structure and rule-out any pathologies.
At Sachar Dental NYC, our expert cosmetic dentists combine both a scientific and artistic approach when designing a smile makeover. Once we have a mold of your teeth, and photographs, we thoroughly evaluate your existing structures and anatomy in order to plan for your new smile. We then use our training, expertise and experience to visualize the smile that we want to create. We will then take the mold of your teeth, and using wax, we create a three-dimensional model of the smile that we desire. Once this is done, we figure out which cosmetic dentistry procedures will be needed in order to achieve this goal. When you come in for your next visit, we will show you this model, and discuss with you the cosmetic dentistry procedures that we recommend in order to achieve that perfect smile.

What is the cost of a smile makeover in NYC?
Smile makeovers consists of many different cosmetic dentistry procedures that we do. Every individual case is different. Final costs will be determined by how many different procedures need to be done. We will give you a final price of your total out-of-pocket costs at the time of your consultation, before any work is done.
Does dental insurance cover any parts of the smile makeover?
Many PPO dental insurances plans will cover certain procedures that are performed as part of your smile makeover. As always at Sachar Dental NYC, we will determine in advance what your insurance benefits are, and be able to tell you which parts of your smile makeover are covered, and what percentage is covered. We will then be able to let you know what your total out-of-pocket costs will be. We will submit a claim to your insurance company and receive the insurance payment directly from them.
Do you offer payment plans for a smile makeover?
At Sachar Dental NYC, we offer interest free financing through Lending Club and Care Credit. In 15 minutes, we will let you know if you are approved for interest-free financing. These options will enable you to make payments over the next 12-18 months without any interest charged.
Can I use my flexible spending dollars for these charges?
Yes, you may be able to use your medical savings accounts or flexible spending dollars to cover charges related to your smile makeover. At the time of your service, we will provide you with all the necessary documentation and receipts.
