What is the difference between veneers and cosmetic bonding?
Cosmetic bonding veneers utilizes a composite material that is the same as tooth colored fillings, however, it covers the entire tooth surface to improve cosmesis rather than fill tooth decay. Veneers utilized porcelain that is made in our laboratory to cover the tooth surface to improve cosmesis. Porcelain veneers are more translucent and therefore better mimic the natural translucency of tooth enamel.
How long does veneerbonding last?
When done correctly, cosmetic bonding veneers should give you great satisfaction for many years. Cosmetic bonding veneers should last a minimum of 5-7 years before they need to be replaced or repaired due to staining or wear.
