Is Invisalign better than smile direct?

While smile direct club may be less expensive, there are many risks and severe consequences of forfeting a dentist's evaluation and intervention when it is necessary. For this reason, Invisalign is the "clear" winner.

Why is smile direct club bad?

While smile direct may work for some without problems, some of the risks of not having a dentist supervise are:

Tooth loss
Developing bite problems
Misalignment of bite can lead to TMJ
Spending more money in the long run
Failure to address underlying problems
Chipped teeth from malalignment

Are Invisalign and smile direct the same?

Only invisalign uses 'buttons' bonded to theteeth for extra grip. Only Invisalign utilizes visits to the dentist in order to periodically evaluate and monitor your progress and intervene when necessary.

What's the price difference between smile direct and Invisalign?

Smile direct club does cost less than invisalign, however, the risks associated with it are not worth the cost savings in our opinion. Additionally, we have had many patients come to us to start all over after smile direct club has failed or caused new problems resulting in the need to spend even more money than just Invisalign alone.
