Dentist NYC: Green dentistry at Sachar Dental
At Sachar Dental NYC we take great pride in providing excellent dentistry while still being green. Green dentistry is a term used to describe our innovative and high-tech methods of performing dentistry while reducing environmental impact, reducing waste, reducing exposure for patients to toxins and toxic materials and in general adopting an overall wellness approach to conventional dentistry.
Everything that we use for materials at Sachar Dental NYC is BPA free and our materials do not contain non-precious metals or mercury. This includes everything from our implants, crowns and inlays to the cements that hold them in place. Of course, our dental fillings are all tooth-colored and mercury and BPA free as well.
Additionally, we only used digital x-rays to reduce the amount of radiation exposure that is already low with conventional dental x-rays, and even lower with digital x-rays.
We also opt for minimally invasive dentistry as a philosophy at Sachar Dental NYC. In general terms, we prefer to perform the least invasive, and the most conservative dental treatment options available for any given dental problem. It is a philosophy that we have adhered to at all times for the past two decades. When there are less aggressive treatment options available- we will always opt for these.
